Volunteers provide direct “hands-on” service to those in need of assistance with home repairs and maintenance. This service is focused particularly on the needs of the elderly, infirm, and families with children, with activities centered on making homes warmer, safer, and dryer. Persons whose homes are selected for this program are usually required to cover the cost of materials; however, limited financial assistance may be available for special cases.
